Palworld tower bosses: check level, HP and element before entering

Use this page before entering a tower so the fight is a planned DPS check, not a blind timer loss.

Start with your problem

Tower losses usually happen because players enter underleveled, confuse normal and hard rows, or lack enough damage to beat the timer.

Current source rows separate seven normal tower bosses from hard-mode versions and show the exact level and HP targets to plan against.

Timer loss Damage output is below the HP target.

Read the tower as a timer fight

Tower bosses punish low damage output even when the player can survive hits.

  • Check level and HP before entering.
  • Bring enough ammo, healing, shield comfort and Pal rotation.
  • Leave and improve if the timer is the real enemy.

Separate normal and hard mode

Hard-mode tower rows have much higher HP and should not shape first-clear advice.

  • Use normal rows for progression.
  • Use hard rows for post-route cleanup.
  • Update hard-mode advice after patches because balance can change.

Plan element response

Elements are a quick way to decide which Pals and damage routes should be tested first.

  • Electric, Grass, Fire, Dark, Ice and mixed bosses need different prep.
  • Do not bring a team only because it worked on the previous tower.
  • Use boss order rows to avoid big route jumps.

Which tower boss comes first?

Current PalDB data lists Zoe and Grizzbolt as the lowest normal tower row at level 10.

Why do tower fights feel impossible?

If you survive but time out, the blocker is damage output and Pal rotation, not only defense.
